Consultants

Arts Schools Network works with the following consultants:

Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate ArtsSchools (ACCPAS)
arts-accredit.org
ACCPAS reviews and accredits schools and programs providing non-degree instruction in the arts disciplines to children, youth, and adults. It is not a membership organization, but rather exists to assist institutions in attaining goals, meeting national standards, and improving educational programs through accreditation. The accreditation review process offers schools a context to examine their operations and programs against their own institutional purposes and against national standards. The ACCPAS accreditation review includes an on-site visit by trained evaluators, followed by review and action by a Commission on Accreditation.
ACCPAS consultative visits are often conducted in preparation for an official ACCPAS accreditation review and visit, to gain perspective about readiness for official ACCPAS review or clarification of ACCPAS Standards, but may also be useful in other contexts. A school may wish for assistance in conducting a self-evaluation of its current resources, operations, programs, or curricula, or gain expert advice on the development of new educational programs.
