Best Practices

recognizing and replicating the schools, programs and people that exemplify our mission

The Arts Schools Network (ASN) promotes high quality arts education by acknowledging the values embraced by member schools and teachers on those campuses. Best practices in instruction are essential for a quality arts education program.

Best practice is defined as a teaching or instructional method that has been demonstrated by research to be an effective learning tool. By following educational research, teachers may offer students better learning programs that can improve academic achievement.

At Arts Schools Network (ASN) we want to hear from you, the teacher, about best practices in your classroom! If you have practices that you would like to share with other arts educators across the country, please download the form below and submit it to the ASN Best Practices Committee at the address listed on the form.
